The 2023 Annual Meeting happened this morning on the campus of Catholic High in Baton Rouge. The League Membership showed up to discuss the state of League affairs this year, and to plan for the future.
Before any of this happened, coaches took time out to vote for All State awards for many of the league deserving players. Full list of those are available in previous stories and on our social media pages.
After many spirited discussions, the League and its members have decided to adopt the NCAA Rule Book for 2024 Season and beyond. This includes a much wanted shot clock, which will add an exciting new dimension to League play.
Many talks about the state of League, specifically Division 2 and how it can be improved upon in the future as the game grows in Louisiana. Lots of these discussions will pick up again at the scheduling meeting in October.
Finally, members took time to vote in new executive board members. Outgoing Commissioner is excited to pass the torch to friend and colleague Steve Martino, who will take the reins for next two seasons and will be tasked with overseeing all League operations.
New Board Members Include

Division 2 Commissioner- Blake Herbert
