After a long day of weather delays, Holy Cross and St. Thomas More finally got their chance to play for the Division 2 Title.
Action kicked off at 6:00pm, and the Tigers were first on the board. The game was tough and physical, but Holy Cross took a 4-1 lead after the first quarter, and never looked back.
The senior squad, lead by middie Gabe Falgoust and Piers Murdock, consistently found ways to score when necessary, and ultimately end up champions.
Coach Blake Herbert, who earlier in the day was elected Division 2 Commissioner, detailed his joy for his program after the three year build after Covid shutdowns. 15 seniors, finally captured their goal, Winning an LHSLL Championship.
